Using Plans with Care

A cutting list is useful information. It is not an inspection of your materials, a guarantee of workmanship or a load certificate.

Informational use

Samplscenlistwagn.pics provides independent, general DIY information. The plans and diagrams are illustrative. We do not represent them as professionally engineered, physically tested, certified or suitable for every workshop. No professional advisory relationship is created by reading the site or sending a message.

Your build and working conditions

Before beginning, assess your skills, tools, material condition, workspace and supports. Check every measurement against the actual components. Dimensions generally describe finished parts in millimetres and do not include waste allowance or saw kerf. A different thickness, species, joint or fixing can change the design’s behaviour.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for tools, glue, finishes, fixings and purchased supports. Apply relevant local safety requirements. Use suitable workholding, dust control and personal protective equipment. Do not use unidentified treated or contaminated timber. Stop and obtain competent help when you cannot establish a safe method.

No implied load rating

No rack, wall panel, tray, stool or worktop on this site has a certified load rating. The weakest component may be a hidden wall support, a damaged veneer or an incorrectly installed fixing. Gradual loading does not turn a homemade project into a certified product.

The portable worktop is not a platform or step. The utility stool is not a step stool or certified seat. Do not use these projects for climbing, safety-critical support or applications requiring documented capacity. Use a suitable tested product when that is what the job requires.

Accuracy and availability

Information may contain errors or become outdated, and pages may change or be unavailable. Verify important details before acting. Report suspected errors through the contact page, identifying the page and dimension involved. We do not guarantee a response, individual redesign or uninterrupted availability.

Limits subject to law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is supplied without guarantees of fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on general information or your construction choices. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer rights or liability for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law prohibits exclusion.

Content and reasonable use

You may read the pages, print a working copy for personal use and build personal projects from the information. This permission does not transfer ownership of the site’s text, diagrams or design. Do not republish substantial content, sell copies of the plans or imply our endorsement without permission. Third-party material remains subject to its owners’ rights.

Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access or send unlawful, abusive or confidential third-party information through correspondence. External links are provided for context; we do not control their content or policies. Naming a book, organisation or manufacturer does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
